While an official “Yellowstone Season 6” in the traditional sense, continuing directly from the previous seasons with Kevin Costner as John Dutton, is not happening, the beloved *Yellowstone* universe is certainly continuing with key cast members. Following the highly publicized departure of Kevin Costner and the conclusion of *Yellowstone*’s flagship series with its fifth season, creator Taylor Sheridan has pivoted to expand the franchise through a series of spin-offs. The most direct continuation of the storyline and featuring returning main characters is a new, as-yet-untitled sequel series, tentatively referred to as “Dutton Ranch” or “2024.”
Fans will be thrilled to learn that several fan-favorite characters are expected to return for this new chapter. While the exact release date is not yet confirmed, reports suggest it could debut in the fall of 2025.
