Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs finds himself at the center of severe allegations involving sexual assault, with multiple lawsuits filed recently in New York’s Supreme Court. One high-profile lawsuit, filed by attorney Tony Buzbee, alleges that Combs assaulted a 10-year-old boy in 2005. The plaintiff, choosing to remain anonymous and identified as John Doe, claims that he was a hopeful young entertainer looking to break into the music industry when his parents arranged a meeting with Combs through an industry consultant. According to the suit, during a family trip to New York, the boy was taken to meet Combs in his hotel room alone, where the alleged assault occurred.
Doe asserts that during this meeting, he was given a drink believed to be laced with drugs, causing him to feel disoriented. The allegations state that Combs used his influence to coerce Doe into sexual acts and threatened him to prevent him from speaking out, warning that harm could come to his family if he disclosed what happened. The filing also details how the boy lost consciousness and later awoke in significant pain, further heightening the gravity of the claims.
This lawsuit is only one in a surge of new cases recently filed against Combs, including another plaintiff who came forward alleging similar incidents of sexual assault. This second accuser, also identified as John Doe, alleges he was assaulted by Combs at the age of 17 while auditioning for the music reality TV show “Making the Band.” According to his account, Combs coerced him into sexual acts over the course of three auditions.
