In a move that has electrified the music world, legendary rock trio The Police have officially announced a 2025 reunion tour, their first in over 17 years. The band—Sting, Andy Summers, and Stewart Copeland—will hit the road this fall for a global tour titled “Synchronicity Lives,” marking what they describe as a final celebration of their timeless legacy.

The announcement came via a surprise appearance by the band on a BBC special, where Sting declared, “This isn’t about nostalgia—it’s about unfinished business. We wanted to do it one more time, for the fans and for ourselves.”

Beginning in September 2025, the tour will cover major cities in North America, Europe, Asia, and South America, with more than 30 shows scheduled and additional dates to be added due to overwhelming demand. Tickets are expected to sell out within minutes, with presale access launching later this month for fan club members.

Fans can expect a powerful setlist featuring classics like “Roxanne,” “Every Breath You Take,” and “Message in a Bottle,” along with rare deep cuts and never-before-played tracks. The band has also teased two new songs, recorded earlier this year, which will debut exclusively during the tour.

Stewart Copeland added, “We’ve still got the fire, and this is going to be loud, tight, and emotional. We’re not just bringing the hits—we’re bringing the soul.”

With no plans beyond this tour, “Synchronicity Lives” could very well be the final time fans see The Police together on stage. After decades of influence and a legacy that spans generations, The Police are back—for one last, unforget

table ride.
