“Nightwish Announces Tarja Turunen and Floor Jansen Will Share the Stage in Historic 2025 Reunion Tour”
In a move that has stunned and delighted fans worldwide, Nightwish has officially announced a groundbreaking reunion tour featuring both former vocalist Tarja Turunen and current frontwoman Floor Jansen. The tour, titled “Voices of Nightwish: A Legacy United”, will celebrate nearly three decades of the band’s iconic symphonic metal journey.
Tuomas Holopainen, the band’s mastermind and keyboardist, shared the news via a heartfelt video posted to Nightwish’s official channels this morning. “This has been a dream long in the making,” Tuomas said. “We believe now is the perfect time to bring all eras of Nightwish together and honor our musical legacy — with both Tarja and Floor singing the songs that defined generations.”
The tour will kick off in Helsinki in October 2025 and span over 20 countries, including stops in Germany, Brazil, Japan, the United States, and more. Each concert will feature a massive orchestral setup, a retrospective setlist covering hits from Oceanborn to Human. :II: Nature., and never-before-seen collaborations between the two iconic singers.
