Motionless In White Announce Album, Tour, and Live Performances; 10th Anniversary of Reincarnate On Hold Due to Internal Crisis
Metalcore giants Motionless In White have halted all upcoming plans, including a new album, tour, and live performances, due to what the band is calling an “internal crisis.” The announcement came as a shock to fans, many of whom had been eagerly awaiting details surrounding the band’s next era — including a celebration for the 10th anniversary of their breakthrough album Reincarnate.
In a statement shared on their official social media platforms, the Pennsylvania-based band expressed deep regret over the situation. “We were preparing to announce major plans for a new record, a full tour, and special Reincarnate anniversary performances,” the band wrote. “However, due to an internal crisis affecting the band’s ability to move forward cohesively at this time, we are placing all upcoming announcements and events on indefinite hold.”
While they did not specify the nature of the internal issues, the band emphasized that their decision was made with the best interests of their members and the long-term future of the group in mind. “This is not a decision we’ve taken lightly,” they continued. “We need time to address things internally before we can fully give ourselves to the music and performances you deserve.”
The 10th anniversary of Reincarnate, which fans had hoped would be celebrated with a commemorative reissue or tour, is now uncertain. The band thanked fans for their continued patience and support during what they described as a “difficult but necessary pause.”
At this time, no rescheduled dates or revised timelines have been shared. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned to the band’s official channels for future updates.
