Metallica has unveiled the 2025 North American leg of their M72 World Tour, extending their global trek into its third year. The tour is set to commence on April 12, 2025, at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will feature 21 dates across various cities, including Syracuse, Toronto, Nashville, Philadelphia, Houston, and Denver.
In keeping with their “No Repeat Weekend” tradition, Metallica will perform two unique sets in each city, ensuring fans experience a diverse selection of their extensive catalog. Support acts for select dates include Pantera, Limp Bizkit, Suicidal Tendencies, and Ice Nine Kills.
Notably, Metallica is scheduled to perform at Virginia Tech’s Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia, on May 7, 2025. This concert holds special significance, as the Hokies have used Metallica’s iconic song “Enter Sandman” as their entrance anthem since 2000, creating one of the most electrifying entrances in college football.
Tickets for the 2025 tour dates will be available starting September 27, 2024, at 10 a.m. local time. Various presale opportunities are available for fan club members, Citi cardmembers, and Verizon Access users, with general sales commencing on the same date. A portion of the ticket sales will benefit local charities through Metallica’s All Within My Hands foundation, which focuses on fighting hunger, supporting workforce education, and aiding communities with critical services.
