Living Colour Confirms Release Date for Long-Awaited New Album
Living Colour has officially confirmed the release date for their highly anticipated new studio album, marking their first full-length project in eight years. The announcement comes as a wave of excitement sweeps across the rock community, following their show-stopping live performance at WrestleMania 41.
Set to drop on October 18, 2025, the upcoming album is being described by the band as their most urgent and forward-thinking work to date. Guitarist Vernon Reid shared that the album will fuse the band’s classic sound with modern influences, delivering powerful messages on current global and cultural issues.
“This record is a reflection of where we are as a band and as people in 2025,” Reid said. “It’s raw, intense, and speaks directly to the times we’re living in.”
Lead vocalist Corey Glover added, “It’s not just music—it’s a statement. This album speaks to pain, progress, resistance, and hope. We can’t wait for the world to hear it.”
The album will feature 12 original tracks, with production that blends Living Colour’s iconic mix of heavy rock, funk, soul, and experimental elements. A lead single is expected to premiere in August, giving fans a taste of what’s to come.
In addition to the album, the band has announced plans for a 2026 world tour, with dates across North America, Europe, and South America. Exclusive pre-order bundles and limited edition vinyl will be available starting June 1 via their official website.
After nearly a decade, Living Colour is back with a message, a mission, and the music to match. This release promises to be not only a return but a bold
leap forward.
