After making their return to action against Newcastle United Under-21s, there is a chance that the first-team duo feature as they continue their long-term injury recovery.
Sky Sports and talkSPORT journalist Bardell believes that Mings and Kamara will both play before returning to the first-team squad after the international break.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bardell said: “They will feature.
“Emery has spoken of them being back in first-team squads after the break, so this game will aid that.
“I can’t wait to have them both amongst it again, both offer things that we don’t have in the squad without them.
“It’ll be great to be able to have them on board again, even though patience from the fans is a must, particularly with Mings.“
Boubacar Kamara and Tyrone Mings to start for Aston Villa v Bolton
The pair had been a huge part of the side under Emery as they achieved Conference League football in the Spaniard’s first half season at Villa Park.
To have them both suffer season-ending injuries last campaign was certainly a blow but the Villans navigated through that problem in expert fashion.
Champions League football was earned which has seen Villa go on to beat Bayern Munich in B6 thanks to a wonderful Jhon Duran strike.
Despite the success the squad has earned without them, having Mings and Kamara back will only strengthen them.
Plenty of fans will be watching to see how they get on against Bolton for the under 21s before returning to Premier League action in the coming weeks and months.
