Legendary band Earth, Wind & Fire has officially announced the release of their first studio album in over 20 years, igniting joy and anticipation across the music world. The iconic group, known for timeless hits like “September,” “Fantasy,” and “Let’s Groove,” confirmed that the new album—currently titled Elements Reimagined—will debut in early 2026.
The announcement came via a special video posted to the band’s official website and social media channels. In the video, founding member Verdine White stated, “It’s time. We’ve been in the studio, creating music that honors our past but speaks to the present and future. This is for the fans—old and new.”
The album will be the band’s first full-length release since 2005’s Illumination and will feature a mix of fresh originals and reimagined versions of classic tracks. Sources close to the project reveal exciting collaborations with artists such as Bruno Mars, H.E.R., Anderson .Paak, and Kendrick Lamar, bringing a modern twist to Earth, Wind & Fire’s timeless sound.
Fans can expect the first single to drop in fall 2025, followed by a world tour beginning in spring 2026. A deluxe vinyl edition and a behind-the-scenes documentary on the album’s creation are also in the works.
Social media exploded with excitement after the announcement, with fans and fellow musicians alike celebrating the band’s return to the studio. “We never stopped performing, but now it’s time to speak through new music,” said White.
After decades of inspiring generations through rhythm, soul, and spirit, Earth, Wind & Fire is poised to deliver an album that both honors their legacy and looks boldly toward the future.
