“Bruce Springsteen Announces Final E Street Band World Tour and New Album ‘Last Light’”
In a heartfelt surprise announcement that has electrified fans around the globe, Bruce Springsteen has revealed plans for what he’s calling the final world tour with the legendary E Street Band, alongside the release of a new studio album, Last Light, set for spring 2026.
In a video message posted on his official site, Springsteen, 75, shared:
> “It’s been one hell of a ride. This next one’s for all of you who’ve stood with us from the bars to the stadiums. We’re going out with love, fire, and the music that made us who we are.”
The upcoming album Last Light—already described by insiders as “raw, reflective, and resolute”—features 12 new tracks reportedly drawing on themes of legacy, resilience, and farewells. Springsteen wrote most of the songs during his downtime after the 2023 tour, calling them “letters to old friends and younger selves.”
The tour, kicking off in May 2026, will span North America, Europe, South America, and Australia, with over 60 stadium dates expected. Venues like Madison Square Garden, Wembley, and Melbourne’s MCG are already confirmed. Tickets will go on sale in September 2025, and demand is predicted to shatter previous records.
Longtime band members—Steven Van Zandt, Max Weinberg, Patti Scialfa, and Nils Lofgren—will return, making this tour a true celebration of decades of brotherhood and musical fire.
Fans have long speculated that the next tour might be the E Street Band’s last. Now that it’s official, emotion is running high. “It’s the end of an era—but what a beautiful one it’s been,” wrote one fan.
And as Bruce says, “We ain’t done yet. We’ve still got one more story to tell.”
