WWE fans could be set for a huge surprise as legendary wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin is reportedly in talks to make a return to WWE Raw next week.
According to backstage reports, WWE officials are hopeful that the Hall of Famer will appear on the upcoming episode of Raw scheduled for March 16 in San Antonio, Texas. The date coincides with the famous “3:16 Day,” a reference to Austin’s iconic catchphrase “Austin 3:16,” which became one of the most memorable slogans in professional wrestling history.
Sources indicate that discussions have already taken place between Austin and WWE regarding a possible appearance. While the company has not officially confirmed the return, insiders say there is a strong possibility that the Texas Rattlesnake could show up during the show, especially given the symbolic timing and the location in his home state.
If the appearance happens, it would mark Austin’s first presence on Monday Night Raw since the special 3:16 Day episode in 2020. That event took place at the WWE Performance Center without fans due to the COVID-19 pandemic, where Austin celebrated by delivering his famous “Stone Cold Stunner” and sharing beers in the ring.
Austin’s last major in-ring match came at WrestleMania 38 in 2022, where he defeated Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match—his first official bout in nearly two decades.
With WrestleMania season approaching and excitement building across the WWE Universe, a surprise return from one of the company’s biggest legends could create a major moment on Raw. Fans around the world are now eagerly waiting to see if the iconic glass-shattering entrance will echo through the arena once again next week.
