BOOM: Till Lindemann Launches Solo “The World,” New Album & Tour—Rammstein’s Future on the Backburner
German industrial-metal powerhouse Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann is breaking out from the band’s shadow with a full-scale solo offensive—delivering electrifying new music, a worldwide solo tour, and teasing future band inactivity.
🔥 Fresh Music, New Album
Lindemann recently dropped the single “Und Die Engel Singen” (“And the Angels Sing”) via Out Of Line Music. The track is not just a promo — it marks the beginning of pre-orders for limited-edition formats, including picture vinyl and maxi-CDs, set to release on August 8, 2025. This release follows last December’s standalone single “Meine Welt”, which did not feature on his debut LP Zunge.
Zunge, Lindemann’s first solo record, arrived in November 2023 after a protracted production period (2021–2023) and self-release independent of his usual label, Out Of Line . Though no follow-up LP has been confirmed, the steady flow of singles suggests more original solo work is imminent.
🎤 Solo Tour Roars Across Europe
Capitalizing on new material momentum, Lindemann is embarking on his “Meine Welt” European tour. It kicks off at Hellfest in France on June 19, 2025, followed by major festival dates like Graspop, Lucca Summer and more. The arena leg kicks off October 29, 2025, in Leipzig and wraps in January 2026 with dates spanning the UK, Spain, Poland, Italy, Turkey, and beyond.
🏗️ Crafting the Sound & Line‑Up
For live performances, Lindemann heads his ensemble—which includes Jes Paige and Emily Ruvidich on guitars, and Danny Lohner (ex–Nine Inch Nails), Constance Day, and Joe Letz (Combichrist). His solo music’s sonic architecture has been shaped by longtime collaborator and producer Sky van Hoff, who helped craft key singles and his Zunge album.
🎯 Where’s Rammstein?
Meanwhile, Rammstein released their eighth album, Zeit, in April 2022, plus a string of arena shows into mid-2024. However, the band has since entered a hiatus, with little indication of immediate collective activity .
Reddit fans speculate that Rammstein might return with new material or a documentary, but emphasize it won’t be until at least 2026 or later. Meanwhile, a «live in Mexico» album recorded in October 2022 is nearing completion.
🔮 The Big Picture
It’s clear: Till Lindemann is grabbing the spotlight. His solo career is rapidly building with high-profile singles, packed festival dates, and a compelling arena tour—showing he’s not just the voice of Rammstein, but a solo force in his own right. Meanwhile, Rammstein’s next chapter remains paused—though fans remain hopeful a documentary or album will resurrect the full band later this decade.
In summary: Lindemann’s solo universe is exploding—with new music, major touring, and slick production—while Rammstein’s collaborative future takes a back seat for now. Keep your eyes on Zunge follow-ups, the upcoming live album, and festival stages this summer—and perhaps stay tuned for Rammstein’s eventual reawakening around 2026–2027.
