Bad Religion Confirms New Album Release Date and Rescheduled Tour Dates for 2025 Comeback
Punk rock stalwarts Bad Religion have officially announced the release of a new album slated for late 2025, marking their first studio effort since 2019’s Age of Unreason. This forthcoming record is particularly noteworthy as it heralds the return of several classic members, promising a blend of the band’s signature sound with fresh, evolved elements.
In tandem with the album announcement, Bad Religion has unveiled plans for an extensive touring schedule. The band will embark on the “Summer of Discontent” co-headlining U.S. tour with Dropkick Murphys, running from July 22 through August 17, 2025. This marks the first time the two iconic punk bands will share the stage on a joint tour. The Mainliners are set to open each show, with performances spanning cities including Spokane, Reno, Indianapolis, and Big Flats.
Beyond the U.S. dates, Bad Religion is also set to headline the 2025 Punk in the Park Arizona festival on April 12, alongside acts like Pennywise and Face to Face. Additionally, the band will celebrate their 45th anniversary with the “45 Years Doing What You Want” tour across Spain and Portugal in May, featuring support from Agnostic Front, Strung Out, Crim, and Belvedere.
This resurgence follows the cancellation of their 2024 fall tour due to unforeseen family circumstances. Now, with renewed vigor, Bad Religion is poised to deliver a series of performances that honor their legacy while introducing fans to their latest musical endeavors.
Fans can anticipate a dynamic setlist that traverses the band’s extensive catalog, coupled with the debut of new tracks that reflect their continued commitment to thought-provoking punk rock. Tickets for the upcoming tours are available through official channels, with pre-sale options for dedicated followers.
