Rammstein Documentary Gets Global Release Date—Includes Unreleased Live Footage
In what promises to be a defining moment for Rammstein fans around the world, the long-awaited Rammstein documentary has finally received a global release date. Titled “Feuer und Fleisch: The Untold Story of Rammstein”, the documentary will premiere worldwide on November 8, 2025, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
Produced over the span of four years, the film offers an unprecedented look into the band’s inner world, tracing their explosive rise from Berlin’s underground scene to global stadium domination. Directed by acclaimed German filmmaker Matthias Glasner, the documentary blends intimate backstage moments, exclusive interviews, and never-before-seen live footage from past tours—including unreleased performances from Paris (2012), Moscow (2019), and the Stadium Tour 2022.
A central focus of the documentary is the brotherhood and tension between members, especially during the creation of their 2019 and 2022 albums, as well as the fallout from controversies surrounding frontman Till Lindemann. According to insiders, the band gave full creative control to Glasner with one condition: “Show us as we really are—no filter.”
Fans will also be treated to rare archival content, including the band’s first rehearsal footage from 1994, writing sessions of “Du Hast,” and behind-the-scenes moments of their infamous pyrotechnic setups. The bonus segment, titled “Ramm 4: The New Era”, teases new material and hints at a possible return to the studio.
Rammstein confirmed the release on their official channels with the caption: “This is our story. Burned in fire, told in truth.”
The documentary will be available with subtitles in over 25 languages and comes ahead of what many speculate could be the band’s final world tour announcement in early 2026.
Fans can already pre-add it to their Amazon watchlist starting next week.
