Ace of Base Announce Long-Awaited Reunion Tour with Original Line-Up
After more than two decades of speculation, hope, and silence, Ace of Base fans around the world are celebrating the news they’ve been waiting for: the original lineup—Linn Berggren, Jenny Berggren, Jonas Berggren, and Ulf Ekberg—are officially reuniting for a global reunion tour and special anniversary album.
The announcement came via a surprise livestream on the band’s official channels, where all four original members appeared together for the first time since the early 2000s. Smiling and visibly emotional, they confirmed that years of private discussions had finally led to a decision to “give back to the fans who never stopped believing.”
“We knew the time had to be right,” said Jonas. “We’ve matured, we’ve healed, and we’ve realized how powerful the music was—not just for others, but for us too.”
The tour, titled “The Sign Returns”, will kick off in Stockholm this fall before traveling across Europe, North America, Asia, and South America in 2026. Alongside the tour, the group is also working on a new album that will blend classic Ace of Base sounds with modern influences.
For many fans, the real miracle is the return of Linn Berggren, who famously stepped out of the spotlight in the late ‘90s. “I needed peace, and now I feel ready,” she said quietly during the announcement.
Ticket sales for the tour will begin next month, with VIP packages that include meet-and-greets, unreleased demos, and limited-edition merchandise.
Ace of Base’s return marks not just a musical comeback but a nostalgic revival for a generation raised on their infectious blend of pop, reggae, and synth. The world is ready—and this time, they’re turning around to embrace it.
