Bad Religion Set to Drop New EP Fall; Studio Sessions Wrap Up
Los Angeles, CA – June 14, 2025 – Legendary punk rockers Bad Religion have officially wrapped up studio sessions on their upcoming EP, slated for release this fall, sources confirm. This marks their first new material since the 2019 full-length Age of Unreason, deepening the band’s 45‑year legacy of provocative, razor-sharp commentary.
Frontman Greg Graffin hinted at fresh work being underway back in February, posting “Gentlemen, start your engines!” alongside candid studio photos of himself and guitarist Brett Gurewitz. Since then, insiders say the band has recorded four to six new tracks, aiming for an intimate yet potent EP format.
Initially, fans anticipated a full-length album before the end of 2025. Instead, the band opted for a leaner EP, allowing them to deliver new music faster while continuing to refine a bigger release down the line. “We’re embracing the short‑play format,” Graffin reportedly told close collaborators. “It’s agile, impactful, and ideal for these times.”
Scheduled for a late October release, the EP will coincide with the rescheduled “Summer of Discontent” U.S. tour with Dropkick Murphys, which had been pushed back due to internal delays. The new tracks are expected to debut live during the Fall leg, with fans in Spokane (July 22) through Big Flats (August 17) set to catch previews.
Speculation around the EP’s content revolves around the band’s continued critique of contemporary politics, climate emergencies, and individual liberties—core themes of their previous record. Listeners can likely expect fast‑paced, high‑energy punk bristling with intellectual and social edge, true to the band’s signature style.
Details on track titles, label affiliation, and format will be revealed soon via the band’s official channels. The EP is expected to hit digital platforms first, followed by limited-edition vinyl in November.
