Rock Legends Nazareth Announce 2025 Album and Global Tour, Igniting Excitement Worldwide
In thrilling news for rock fans everywhere, legendary Scottish band Nazareth has officially announced the release of a brand-new studio album and a global tour, both set for 2025. This marks their first major release since 2022’s Surviving the Law and reaffirms that the band—now in its sixth decade—is still a powerful force in hard rock.
The new album, titled Blood & Thunder, will drop in September 2025 and promises a fierce return to the gritty, guitar-driven sound that made Nazareth iconic. Produced by Yann Rouiller, who also helmed their previous records, the album features 12 new tracks that blend classic Nazareth fire with modern rock energy. Lead vocalist Carl Sentance calls it “our most intense and passionate work yet.”
Founding bassist Pete Agnew, still going strong at 78, confirmed that recording wrapped in early May. “We’ve poured everything into this one,” he said. “It’s for the fans who stuck with us and for the new generation just discovering what we’re about.”
To support the album, Nazareth will embark on the Blood & Thunder World Tour, kicking off in October 2025. The band will hit stages across Europe, North America, South America, and Asia, including a headline show at London’s O2 Arena and a long-awaited return to the U.S. after a postponed tour earlier this year.
Fans can expect a mix of new material and timeless classics like “Love Hurts” and “Hair of the Dog” in the setlist. Pre-orders for the album open in June, with tour tickets going on sale shortly after.
For Nazareth fans, this is the best news in years: new music, a massive tour, and proof that the fire still burns brighter
than ever.
