London, UK – Legendary guitarist and singer-songwriter Eric Clapton has announced plans for a highly-anticipated 2025 world tour, as well as a brand-new studio album.
The tour, which is set to kick off in spring 2025, will see Clapton performing in some of the world’s most iconic venues, including London’s Royal Albert Hall, New York’s Madison Square Garden, and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl.
“I’m thrilled to be hitting the road again in 2025,” said Clapton. “I’ve been working on some new music and I’m excited to share it with my fans. This tour is going to be a celebration of my entire career, with a mix of old and new songs.”
The new album, which is currently in production, will mark Clapton’s 25th studio release. The album is expected to feature a mix of blues, rock, and pop, showcasing Clapton’s signature blend of guitar virtuosity and soulful vocals.
“I’ve been feeling very inspired lately, and I think this new album is going to be something special,” said Clapton. “I’m excited to share it with my fans and to perform it live on stage.”
The 2025 world tour will feature a talented band, including keyboardist Chris Stainton, bassist Nathan East, and drummer Steve Gadd.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale in the coming weeks, with exclusive pre-sale opportunities available for Eric Clapton fan club members.
