Indiana Fever star and Unrivaled standout Aliyah Boston has once again demonstrated her commitment to giving back, announcing she will donate her full $25,000 semifinalist bonus from the Unrivaled 1-on-1 Tournament to a youth charity in her home country of Barbados.

In the semifinals, Boston faced off against Allisha Gray in a thrilling contest. Boston mounted an impressive 10-0 run to erase an early deficit, but Gray held on for a narrow 12-10 victory with a clutch late shot. Chelsea Gray ultimately claimed the $200,000 championship prize by defeating Allisha Gray in the final, while runner-up Allisha took home $50,000. As one of the semifinalists alongside teammate Kelsey Plum, Boston earned her $25,000 share.
Rather than pocketing the money, Boston chose to direct every dollar to the Aliyah Boston Foundation’s youth programs in Barbados. The foundation focuses on providing underprivileged children with access to sports, education, and mentorship—opportunities that helped shape Boston’s own path from a young athlete in Barbados to a national champion at South Carolina and a rising WNBA force.
“Growing up, basketball opened doors for me that I never imagined,” Boston shared in a statement. “This bonus isn’t just money—it’s a chance to create those same doors for kids back home who dream big but need support. Giving it back feels right.”
The donation follows a pattern of generosity in Unrivaled, where Paige Bueckers previously pledged her free-throw challenge winnings to community relief. Fans flooded social media with praise, calling Boston’s act “true leadership” and highlighting how WNBA stars continue to use their platforms for impact beyond the court.
Boston’s on-court excellence—leading Phantom in blocks and rebounding—combined with her off-court heart solidifies her as one of the league’s most inspiring figures. In a season full of highlight-reel plays, her selfless decision may resonate the longest.
