Port Vale defender Alex Iacovitti joins St Mirren
Port Vale have confirmed that defender Alex Iacovitti has left the club to sign for Scottish Premiership side St Mirren.
Iacovitti joined from Ross County in the summer of 2023 and played 38 times as Vale were relegated from League One last season.
This summer, the Valiants have brought back Connor Hall, who plays in Iacovitti’s favoured left-sided central defensive position, while Iacovitti did not feature in any of Vale’s pre-season friendly games so far.
