Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has delivered a defiant message to the international community, thanking supporters across the globe while insisting that Iran will never surrender despite mounting military pressure and escalating conflict in the Middle East.
In a televised address broadcast from Tehran, the president expressed gratitude to people in various countries who have voiced solidarity with Iran during the ongoing war involving the United States and Israel. He said the encouragement and support from around the world have strengthened the resolve of the Iranian people during what he described as one of the most challenging moments in the nation’s history.
“I thank all the people around the world who have stood with Iran and spoken out for justice,” Pezeshkian said. “Your voices give strength to our nation and remind us that we are not alone in this struggle.”
The Iranian leader also delivered a firm rejection of calls from foreign powers demanding that Iran capitulate. He insisted that the country would continue to defend its sovereignty and independence regardless of external pressure.
“Our enemies must take their dream of Iran’s surrender to their graves,” he declared. “The Iranian people will never surrender.”
The speech comes as the conflict between Iran and the U.S.-Israel alliance enters a dangerous phase following intense airstrikes, missile attacks, and rising casualties across the region. The war escalated after large-scale military strikes were launched against Iranian targets, which Tehran says killed key leaders and triggered retaliatory attacks on Israeli and U.S. interests.
Despite the strong rhetoric, Pezeshkian attempted to ease tensions with neighboring countries in the Middle East. During the same address, he apologized to regional states that were affected by recent Iranian missile or drone strikes and said Iran does not intend to target neighboring nations unless attacks originate from their territory.
According to Iranian officials, the interim leadership council has agreed to avoid further strikes on neighboring countries as part of an effort to prevent the conflict from expanding into a wider regional war.
Still, the president warned that Iran would respond decisively to any direct aggression. He emphasized that while Tehran seeks stability in the region, it will not compromise its sovereignty or national dignity.
As fighting continues and global powers closely monitor the situation, Pezeshkian’s statement signals that Iran remains determined to resist military and political pressure while rallying domestic and international support.
The situation remains highly volatile, with analysts warning that further escalation could draw more countries into the conflict and deepen instability across the Middle East.
