San Francisco, CA — June 2025 — In a move sure to electrify punk rock fans around the world, Fat Wreck Chords has officially announced a massive global label tour and the long-awaited revival of the iconic Fat Music compilation series.

 

Set to kick off in early 2026, the Fat Wrecked & Rolling Tour will bring together some of the label’s most beloved acts, including Lagwagon, Strung Out, Bad Cop/Bad Cop, The Bombpops, The Last Gang, and The Copyrights, for a whirlwind run through North America, Europe, Australia, and select cities in South America. Special surprise sets and secret guests are also rumored, with whispers that Fat Mike himself may appear at select shows.

 

In tandem with the tour, the label will release Fat Music Volume 8: The Resistance Still Lives, the first entry in the series since 2010. Featuring exclusive new tracks and unreleased gems from both legendary bands and rising stars, the compilation aims to capture the urgency, energy, and unity of the punk scene in 2025. Early track reveals include contributions from CIGAR, Get Dead, Clowns, and a long-anticipated new single by Joey Cape.

 

Fat Wreck Chords co-founder Erin Burkett stated: “We’ve been waiting for the right moment to bring back both the tour and the compilation. Punk is alive, louder than ever, and our community is hungry for something big.”

 

Tickets for the tour go on sale August 15, 2025, with the compilation dropping October 1st on vinyl, CD, and all digital platforms.
